Results from the CC6 race at Roundhill on 8th October 2023
Totton had a very good turnout of 41 runners (21 men, 20 women)- we had the largest contingent of women running.
Congratulations to Clare Bayliss and Debbie Millar for completing their first CC6 for Totton and welcome back to Rebecca Rees. Commiserations to Shaun Egan who was unable to complete the race.
A large tree inconveniently positioned prevented me from seeing runners approaching from any distance but I did notice Steven Cox putting in a strong finish.
It was a beautiful morning to be out and about in the Forest. I love the less intense Autumnal light playing on the changing colours of the season. On the way back we encountered dozens of animals, pigs, ponies, cows, horses and all of them seeming to be enjoying the conditions.
